Job security remains PSA members’ top EB priority

During the last couple of months PSA General Secretary Nev Kitchin, Assistant General Secretary Natasha Brown and PSA Organisers have visited numerous locations across the state to update members on the current enterprise bargaining campaign.

Feedback from the many members who attended the EB barbecues was clear – job security is still PSA members’ top priority in enterprise bargaining.

The state government’s proposal to remove Appendix 1 (Redeployment, Retraining and Redundancy) from the enterprise agreement is strongly opposed by PSA members.

PSA General Secretary Nev Kitchin told members that:

The PSA will not give up or trade off your job security provisions, including our highly effective RRR processes”

A number of members who attended the barbecues spoke to the PSA about why job security is so important.
