Proposed Social Worker Registration Board of SA Scope of Practice, and Social Work Services
The Director of the Social Worker Registration Board of SA (SWRB) has written to the Public Service Association seeking feedback about the proposed SWRB Scope of Practice, and Social Work Services.
The SWRB advises that it is consulting on the Scopes of Practice and Social Work Services to ensure that there is alignment with the definitions proposed by the Board and the social services sector prior to becoming regulation.
SWRB is seeking feedback on:
The Scope of Practice of social workers
The definition of Social Work Services
Social workers functions and activities
Social worker roles
Where social workers practice
How social workers practice.

Please provide feedback to PSA Allied Health Professional Network Coordinator Rosie Ratcliff by email to rosie.ratcliff@psaofsa.asn.au by close of business on Tuesday, 3 September 2024 to allow it to be included in a collated and non-identifying manner in the PSA’s response to the SWRB.
Please provide your feedback in the same format as the yourSAy survey, including demographic information, so that feedback about each specific question can be easily identified.
