What will happen when I VOTE NO to the Allied Health Professional + Allied Health Assistant separate agreement?

The PSA is urging all AHPs and AHAs to VOTE NO in the ballot on the government’s offer for the AHP/AHA Agreement, which opened today.

What will happen when you VOTE NO?

  • Negotiations will need to resume.

  • The PSA will continue to advocate for better and stronger wage outcome, improvements to conditions and the retention of all your current conditions.

The PSA will fight to protect your workplace rights – like your rights to:

  • job security

  • be consulted about any workplace change including the introduction of 24/7 rosters

  • protection from unreasonable workloads

  • preserve the status quo while disputes are resolved

  • active case management, employer support and if needed, training for a new role, if you’re declared excess

  • take industrial action during a dispute.

  • In the meantime, you will continue to be covered by the current Salaried Agreement and you will retain all your current conditions.

VOTE NO – you deserve much better!

Please share this information with your colleagues and print out and put on notice boards.
