Notice of Casual Vacancy Election

In accordance with the Union's rules, notice is given of a casual vacancy election for the office of Branch Councillor, CPSU, the Community and Public Sector Union, SPSF Group – South Australian Branch (Electorates 2, 5 and 8), Election E2026/119.

This election is conducted by the Australian Electoral Commission. The election notice and nomination form are available below.

Prospective candidates and nominators should verify they meet all eligibility criteria set out in the Union's rules, including financial status and any other necessary qualifications, before submitting their nomination.

Nominations open on 2 September 2026 and must be received by the Returning Officer no later than 12 midday Australian Central Standard Time (ACST) on 16 September 2026, using one of the lodgement methods specified in the election notice.
